How does BOOX Trade-in program work?

The BOOX trade-in program is a device trade-in program provided by BOOX HK to offer customers. Customers can obtain preferential prices when purchasing new BOOX electronic equipment by recycling their eligible devices.

Process of trade-in program

1. After selecting the new BOOX model you like, contact customer service and provide the old model, condition, and the name of the model you want to trade in with.


2. Customer service will confirm eligibility and quote within 1-2 working days.


3. After the customer service quotation is confirmed, you can place an order directly online, indicate the model of the old device in the remarks, and arrange to send the old device to our following store/ drop off in person.

#If the device was sent out via courier, please ensure that the device screen is intact and reinforced before sending it out. Global Trade will not bear any maintenance fee/ compensation for damage on the way. 


4. After receiving the old device and assessing whether the device meets the previous description, the new BOOX device will be shipped out within 1-2 working days.


**If you have placed an order before quoting, customer service will contact you to give you a quote for your equipment. If the valuation is lower than the discount, you will be required to pay the difference and we will arrange to ship the new device after we receive the difference and the exchanged device.

If you reject the revised quote, the trade-in order will be canceled, and a refund will be arranged through your order payment method.

Can I return the trade-in device directly to the store and pick up the new device at the same time?

Yes, just select "Store Pickup" as the delivery method when placing your order.

Can I trade in non BOOX devices?

Yes, e-readers in different brands are eligible for the trade-in program.

I have multiple old e-ink devices. Can I trade in them with one new BOOX device?

No, the trade-in program only allows one old device exchanged for one new BOOX device.

How much is the device I’m trading in worth?

The exact discount value of the old device depends on the old device model, brand, condition and the replacement device model. 

For an exact price quotation, please consult our customer service.

Why did I receive an adjusted trade-in value quote?

Upon receipt of your trade-in device, If the condition of your device is different from what you described, we will provide a revised value. 


If the adjusted value is lower than the initial quotation, you can choose to accept or reject it. If you accept it, you will need to settle the price difference, and we will proceed with the trade-in and arrange the new BOOX device to ship out upon payment received.


If you reject, we will cancel the trade-in order and return your trade-in device.

Can I trade in to accessories?

No, the trade-in offer is only eligible for new BOOX electronic devices.

But you can purchase different accessories at discounted prices while placing your order.
